Visual Studio 11 Information

Known Issues

Visual Assist X build 1901 or later supports Visual Studio 11 Beta with these limitations:

• Some WinRT types (ie, Platform::String) are not recognized by VA. (case=61410)
• VA listbox, suggestion and snippet features are not supported in JavaScript. (case=61584)
• Tooltips may not be present in completion and members listboxes in C++. (case=61591)
• Visual Assist coloring is not present in the editor in the Visual Studio dark theme. (case=64962)
• C++ snippets are missing from listboxes. (case=64205)
• Visual Assist editor coloring may be lost when cycling between light and dark themes until restart.
• Not all visual elements are ported to the new shell theme. (case=64514)

We are working to resolve these issues and will update this list accordingly. Check the release notes for the most up-to-date information.
